Batch Add Timestamps to Multiple Photos at Once

Stamp an entire photo series with the same date format, font, and position — and download every result in one ZIP.

Why batch processing beats editing one-by-one

Whether you're organizing a family trip, documenting a renovation, or archiving scanned photos, manually stamping each image wastes time and produces inconsistent results. Batch processing lets you apply one style to every photo in seconds — and because each photo keeps its own EXIF capture date, every timestamp is still accurate.

How batch timestamping works here

  1. Select multiple files. Use the file picker or drag a folder of images onto the upload area.
  2. Watch the batch progress. Each photo is processed in your browser, with a progress bar and per-image status (processing / done / error).
  3. Edit one style for all. Change the format, font, color, or drag the timestamp to a new position — every photo updates together.
  4. Review thumbnails. Click any thumbnail to preview it, compare original vs. stamped, or delete unwanted images.
  5. Download everything. Download All exports all stamped photos in a single ZIP file, keeping the original filenames with a -timestamped suffix.

Handling different formats in one batch

Mixed batches are fine. JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC/HEIF photos can be processed together; iPhone HEIC files are converted to JPEG automatically so nothing breaks mid-batch.

Best practices for clean results

  • Pick a format that matches your audience — YYYY-MM-DD for sorting, a full date + time for evidence photos.
  • Use a high-contrast color with a shadow so the stamp stays readable on bright areas.
  • Keep padding generous so the stamp isn't clipped on small thumbnails.
  • Preview the first photo before processing a very large batch.
  • Work on copies — the originals are never overwritten.

Performance tips for large batches

Processing happens on your device, so larger photos take a little longer. For hundreds of images, avoid running many other tabs in the background. Everything stays local, so there are no upload or storage limits — process as many photos as you like.
